Home & Community Outreach
Alpha deliver personalised one-to-one sessions in the home, as well as organising community visits.
We specialise in supporting neurodiverse individuals (with or without a diagnosis) and can develop:
- communication
- speech and language skills
- engagement in learning
- social understanding and interaction
- emotional literacy and self-regulation
- increased aspirations
We build trusting relationships with the young people and their families to develop confidence and promote enjoyment.

School Outreach
Alpha's in-school intervention not only provides a young person with one-to-one sessions, but also supports staff through regular feedback, advice and resource-creation.
We can:
- support transition into school
- increase time in school and reduce exclusions
- build relationships with peers and staff
- develop emotional literacy and regulation
- improve understanding of neurodiversity
- support social understanding, interaction and communication
We can also assist with behaviour plans, communication boards and risk-reduction.
Ongoing Specialist Support for Schools
An SLA contract provides you with one of our highly-skilled practitioners for an allotted amount of time each week. You can direct how this time is used, allowing you to respond quickly to arising needs within your school.
Typically we include 3 separate sessions within a half-day, working either 1to1 or with small groups. You identify the children and the desired outcomes - we plan and deliver personalised interventions to meet these.
We have both primary and secondary specialists to support social, emotional and communication needs as well as specific SEND.
